Michele Seibold – 2025 Wrap Up
I cannot believe we are already at the end of 2025, it feels like the year just began! Each year seems to go by faster, and we are grateful for all the adventures and memories we’ve made along the way. This year, we stayed a little closer to home and enjoyed a Texas-style staycation with several weekend trips. We spent time in Dallas, explored Dinosaur Valley State Park, and, as always, no year would be complete without Morgan learning about animals at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. She also visited a wild bird sanctuary, where she discovered the tremendous amount of work that goes into caring for birds that can no longer live in the wild.
Morgan is now in 5th grade and continues to love playing the piano, she’s proudly in her fifth year of lessons. Jiu jitsu remains a strong focus for her, and she’s beginning to understand that progress in the sport is truly a long, steady grind.
One of the highlights of her year was organizing a fundraiser with a couple of friends for the local Humane Society. They sewed dog bandannas and sold them at the farmers’ market, raising over $350 for the shelter. Her passion for animals continues to grow, and she truly thrives when she’s around them.
Life on the ranch always keeps us busy with new projects and surprises. This year, a small flock of geese adopted us and seems to have decided that our ranch is now their permanent residence. Morgan also welcomed her very own puppy, Mia the chiweenie, who is never more than a few steps behind her. And because life likes to keep things interesting, our Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dog surprised us this fall with a litter of puppies, an adventure that has brought both joy and a lot of work!
As we reflect on 2025, we are thankful for everything we’ve learned, the new friends we’ve made, and the old friends we wish we saw more often. We look forward to what 2026 will bring and hope it offers many opportunities to reconnect with family and friends near and far.
We truly appreciate your friendship and support over the years. Wishing you and your family a holiday season filled with love, joy, and laughter.
Here’s to a happy, healthy, and blessed new year!
