New Year – One Month Check In

As we approach the end of January, I am reflecting on my New Year’s resolutions.
Were my goals realistic? How have you done so far?

I am a big advocate for not only New Year’s resolutions but updating my ongoing goals and dreams. I am currently finding myself drawn to creating a dream board and refreshing some prior aspirations.

Here are a few of my personal goals for 2024:

I have always been a reader.  However, I found with reading as a large part of my day-to-day job and then attending law school 10 years ago, my passion diminished and reading often felt more like a chore.  Toward the end of 2023, I gained a renewed interest in reading for pleasure again.  This year my goal is to read at least one book a month, rotating between entertainment (I am a sucker for mystery) and personal growth.

Take family mini trips.

This year rather than a big vacation, I want to focus more on mini trips.  Go down to the Texas coast, explore local state parks and attractions.  There are so many things to do locally that I am excited to discover and find new adventures.

Push creativity.

As many people know, I love to bake and am also a craft geek.  I hope to take more time this year to create and have an outlet of inspiration.  I love to receive new ideas and recipes if you are willing to share.

What were your resolutions or goals for 2024?

Send me an email at michele@seiboldgroup.com, I would love to hear what you are striving for this year!
